Base services

At Lundevågen in Farsund, we provide a total of 11,000 square metres of indoor storage space (including heated storage) and 32,500 square metres of outdoor storage area – all at competitive rates.

Our base services include crane operations, cable spooling and stevedoring (loading and unloading).

We can transport units of up to 300 tonnes using our own trailers and transfer them onto our specially designed quay, which is built to handle heavy loads and large cranes. Through Lister Kranservice, we also have access to two mobile cranes – the largest with a reach of 100 metres and a lifting capacity of up to 80 tonnes.

Farmar also provides personnel for managing port services at other bases. Among other things, we handle the loading of ilmenite at the Titania quay in Jøssingfjorden on a permanent basis.

At our Farsund base, we operate our own mechanical workshop with experienced staff carrying out all types of yard services.
