- This boat was towed from Fitjar on Stord by FFS Arion. In the harbor it also received assistance from FFS Athos and a work boat, says John W. Nilsen, general manager of FFS.

For several years, FFS has managed storage boats in Farsund and Lyngdal.

- WE WILL ARRANGE EVERYTHING necessary formalities and practical things for the shipping companies, and offers full support – including stand-by tugs and qualified watch crew, says Nilsen.

The Geo Celtic will be moored right next to another Shearwater boat – the SW Duke.

- It is not unusual for us to tow the boats into the storage harbour, says Nilsen.

MOSTLY there have been 22 seismic boats in circulation in Farsund and Lyngdal. But recently, the market for oil exploration has picked up sharply. As a result, several of the vessels have been mobilized for new missions.

- In the last period, we have almost exclusively worked on the reactivation of boats. A lot of good work has been done there, says Nilsen.
